Current release features:

  • WPF desktop explorer client
  • Visual Studio integrated tool window explorer client (Visual Studio 2010 Professional and above)
  • Supported operations: Refresh (isolated storage information), Add Folder, Add Existing Item, Download File, Delete Folder, Delete File
  • Explorer supports operations running on multiple remote applications at the same time
  • Explorer detects application disconnect (1-2 second delay)
  • Explorer confirms operation completed status
  • Explorer displays application name, version and device type
  • Explorer is visible in the Extension Manager in Visual Studio
  • Explorer library available on the .NET tab in the Add Reference dialog

This is almost useless. You cannot explore subdirectories. This bug has been reported months ago at http://wp7explorer.codeplex.com/workitem/9882 But has not been fixed. This has potential, and I will change my rating when I see a working release.

I like the tool - ability to view/add/remove files from IsolatedStorage. It helps us ad-hoc test our software without scripts to use isetool to pull/restore the entire storage directory. For some reason I don't have the ability to view child folders. I created a rather deep folder hierarchy and am only able to see the root. When I dump isolated storage to my desktop using isetool, i see all files

played with this today for hours. i can't believe how simple it is to work with and debug issues.wish i had this on my last project too.
